Central Ohio or Greater Columbus, is one of the largest metropolitan areas in the Midwestern United States. Central Ohio includes the counties of Delaware, Fairfield, Franklin, Hocking, Licking, Madison, Morrow, Perry, Pickaway, and Union. It is part of the Great Lakes Megalopolis, containing an estimated 59 million people. Annual festivities in Columbus include the Ohio State Fair—one of the largest state fairs in the country—as well as the Columbus Arts Festival and the Jazz & Rib Fest, both of which occur on the downtown riverfront. Wikipedia
